A few of my favorite things...

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve!  My littles are so excited about Christmas.  They love EVERYTHING about this time of year.  Hot Cocoa, lights, CANDY, gingerbread houses, cookie decorating, making ornaments and more!  The night that I captured these priceless (to me) pictures, we were having a relaxing night at home.  The boys were allowed to watch a movie on my ipad.  They snuggled in together and I glanced over my shoulder and literally tears filled my eyes.  This is Christmas to us.  Not the hustle and bustle, but the sweet moments spent together all because of Jesus.  Of course, I quietly got out my camera and snapped away.  The funny thing is, no one asked, "what are you doing."  They just continued being sweet, watching their movie.  I guess it's their "norm", me documenting their life;)  I have been blessed this year with precious moments.  I am so thankful.  We are in the process of expanding our family through adoption.  This may very well be our last year as a family of four.  But we are ready and expectant.  The Erwin's will soon be a family of five.  We are all so excited.  I can't wait to see my boys with a sister.  What a capable Princess she will be.  

Thank you Jesus for ALL of this.

New adventures-INdoors

I love outdoor photography because I love natural lighting.  I also adore being outdoors!  Is there anything better than FRESH air!  One of my many passions is photographing my children in their environment.  It's where I get the most creative and I allow them to just BE kids!  I have conversations with them while they are splashing in the bath tub or are playing intensely with their trains.  I am able to capture their expressions and these are the moments I never want to forget.  I am now offering this service to my clients!  I would love to come to your home (big or small or even MeSsY) and capture your environment in action.  We would still be able to capture family portraits in a more comfortable environment.  AND think, you can even go to your very own bathroom and TOUCH UP!!  AHHH!  Now that is every woman's dream!  I would treat this opportunity like I would approach a wedding.  Details of your everyday life!  I am getting excited just typing!

Senior portraits

What a beautiful Senior and a beautiful country setting!  There's nothing like a country church with old doors and over grown gardens.  It will definitely get this girl in the creative mood!  Brittany, I hope you have a lovely Senior year and that ALL your dreams come true!

TICKLED PINK~

NEEDED to take a minute and update my site!  I have had the honor of photographing little GIRLS lately!  Because my world is full of BLUE (snails and puppy dog tails), I get tickled PINK when I get to photograph little princesses!  These little ones were just absolute dolls.  What precious pieces of art their parents will have forever!  Thank you all for allowing me to take part in such sweet moments of your lives:))
